Each expert contributes to bring the whole group farther. This is a person who has deep knowledge in a particular niche or is heavily woven into slightly broader area, and the commitment should be on the order of 15 minutes weekly plus 5-20 hours yearly with 4 key expectations:

Contribute weekly content to our Discord community—such as a sharing news story, video, or insightful article—ensuring a continuous flow of relevant information and active discussion while positioning your expertise within the community.
Write a Communication
Intended in scope to be the length of a long social post to a short white paper, and to be featured in a post on our website, each expert will author one communication per year with relevance to their domain and Pittsburgh.
Directly Shape Events and Activities
Select relevant topics, identifying experts, and curating engaging content for our organization’s programming.
Knowledge Sharing
Providing specialized guidance to those who reach out to us, and being a reliable source for speaker recommendations or expert panels.
